Herbs and plants are life. They are here is heal use and feed us. They expand us. Combined with the sun, herbs feed our melanin. West Africans are the original vegetarians, the original farmers. You can still see it till this day with our elaborate vegetable-based soups. There’s just something in our DNA that knows how to connect with plants. But, colonization changed a lot of that. I’m not saying that we need to be strict vegetarians. We just need to get back to our roots and connect more to nature and ourselves. B/c we are nature, everything we do is natural.
